So mid-Nov we celebrated my Grandpa Chavez's 71st birthday. We had a chilli and cornbread dinner at our house, with yummy cupcakes and ice cream to follow. It was neat to see my Grandpa so touched by the effort I put into making his birthday special.

Then about a week later came my mom's birthday!!! She is getting more beautiful as the years go by I swear. We had a fun dinner and ice cream cake to celebrate our wonderful Daughter, Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. Love you Mom! Thanks for all that you do.

Then came Thanksgiving!!! Always a fun day to eat and just spend together with our families. We are lucky to be so close to alot of our family...our immeddiate family anyways. We hope everyone had a speical and nice day with their families.

Since Turkey Day we attended two baptisms and even started our Christmas outings with our family. Shane's cousin Chads' youngest son Jake was baptized. He was 4 years old when he was in our wedding party...its hard to believe he is 8 and a baptized dude! Then most recently was Hayden's baptism. Hayden is our sis-in-laws nephew. We have become quite close with Hollys family and wanted to support this smart young man. It was another busy and fun afternoon with family.

After Thanksgiving we kicked off the Christmas season with a trip to Ethel M Chocolate Factory thats here in Henderson. You can take the free tour of the factory and also they put up over 500k lights and decorations in their cactus garden. It was lots of fun to be with a large group of our family. Here are the pictures! By the way Makenze was a dancing machine. She danced with everyone(family) that she could convince to dance with her. Let the Christmas activities begin.
