No work....so let's play!

As hard as it is financially with Shane not working but a mere 12 hours the past 6 weeks we have tried to enjoy some quality family time. We have had to be creative in finding fruggle ways to entertain ourselves. HAHA! Its been wonderful having Shane around more, I know it is going to be hard to adjust back into our "normal" routine with him working like non-stop. Oh the joys of being married to the hardest working man I know!!!
Here are a few things we've been up to while Shane has been off.
We went on a little nature hike right here in Henderson. Shane paved the parking lot where this nature preserve is and has been wanting to take us exploring up there since. It was lots of fun. Makenze was a little nervous at first about the hills and stuff but then it was hard getting her back in the car to go home.







Another fun outing that we had was to see Disney On Ice! It was awesome and thanks to my parents, we got to go. It was their gift to Makenze for her birthday. They watched Eastenn while Makenze, Shane, and I went to see Cars, Little Mermaid, Lion King, Tinkerbell, and it was all hosted by Minnie, Mickey, Donald & Goofy! It was sweet to see how happy and excited Makenze was to see a show like this. It was hilarious everytime a new character came out it was like being at a rock concert full of little screeching/screaming kids. Fun! Fun!Fun!
